Staff Accountant (Deerfield Beach, FL)

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for various general accounting and financial aspects of the company.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Review shipping documents and vendor invoices for daily sales posting
• Credit card processing
• Customer maintenance in accounting software
• Perform month-end close activities
• G/L account reconciliations
• Prepare documentation requested for quarterly audits
• Provide assistance to the Controller with projects/requests, including but not limited to:  budgeting, monthly closings, special reports/projects for upper management, and research for internal requests.
• Assist with the 404 Certification process
• Reconcile intercompany accounts for our US and UK divisions

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have at least 3+ years of accounting experience, with public experience a plus.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Great Plains experience is a plus.
